I hit up the Mischief.tv car show in Manassas, VA a couple of weeks ago. I parked and walked away. Every time I would look over at my car it would have a small crowd around it.

    Ratty e30

Had the unfinished roof rack on for some highway testing. It stuck.

The show was cool, the drive up with friends was fun too. Had a lot of people show love for the beater. I’ll post my crappy phone pics up here soon.

    Check it.
    Lace Paint

Here is a pretty sweet technique picked up from old school rods. Lowriders in particular.

    I snagged this from Motormavens.

I’ve started work on the interior. I took 2 Mexican blankets (10$ each from eBay) and covered the back seats rat style. Took about 2hrs total.
I have a “theme” for lack of a better word, of Hakosuka meets Ratrod meets Dirty30. This should motivate me to work on the rest of the interior.
More to come on this POS.

I founds this on the Farm of Minds blog. I’ve been on these roads before but in a rented Fiat Punto. Needless to say it was not this fun.
    Watch this till the end.

    Mocal Sandwich Plate

    Mocal Sandwich Plate

Having researched a bit and not finding many sandwich plates that you would trust and werent 200+ dollars, the Mocal unit is your best choice.

No need for a Greddy or HKS JDM uber bling. It’s under your car and it needs to work, not be anodized hot pink with a hello kitty charm hanging off of it. (although that would be awesome)

It has a wax based thermostat which is simple and reliable and is built strong. Hook it up to an oil cooler and you’re set.

More posts about my oil set up to come.
